I'm looking forward to the Author Showcase I will be in on April 1st! I hope to see you all there! This should be fun!


Author Showcase - April 1

In cooperation with The Last Word Bookstore in Savage Mill, the Maryland Writers’ Association is hosting its first Author Showcase on April 1, 1 to 4 p.m., at the bookstore. The program will give each author 8 minutes to discuss their latest book and offer a brief reading.


The featured authors are:

· Sarah Birnbach - Memoir

· J.L. Birchwood – Dystopian fiction

· Scott Fowler – Horror

· Diane Helentjaris – Historical fiction

· Dante Lupinetti – Faith-based apocalyptic survival

· Meredith Johnson – Childlren’s books

· A.R. Maxwell – Young Adult Futuristic

· Millie Mack - Mystery

· Eileen Haavik McIntire – Mystery

· Robin Stevens Payes – Young Adult


Following the program, the authors will remain available to discuss and sign their books, which will be sold by The Last Word Bookstore. If the program is a success, MWA will consider developing a regular series of such events to provide this opportunity to more members.
