Generative AI Statement

There has been much discussion among authors and publishers of late concerning Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). There is much concern about the use of this new technology. As such, I feel the need to make a statement on this site concerning Generative AI.

First, I would like to point out that Generative AI is ill named. The AI isn’t actually artificially intelligent. The AI engine creates nothing from scratch. What the technology actually does is search the internet, picking and choosing pieces of other people’s works to stitch together to answer the request that someone has entered. The requestor (generally) will then claim the product the Generative AI has created as their own when it isn’t.

As such, I do not use any form of Generative AI on this site or in any of my works. Use of Generative AI is copyright infringement on other’s works and a cheat. Generative AI is stealing, plain and simple, and I will not allow it on my site.
